Villa Capra 'La Rotonda' is a Renaissance villa in Vicenza, northern Italy, designed by Andrea Palladio. The correct name is Villa Almerico-Capra. It is also known as La Rotonda, Villa Rotunda, Villa La Rotonda. The name 'Capra' derives from the Capra brothers, who completed the building after it was ceded to them in 1591. Like other work by Palladio in Vicenza, it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list.The site selected was a hilltop just outside the city of Vicenza. Then and for centuries to follow, it was fashionable to be what is today called 'a gentleman farmer'; buoyed by arcadian values, prosperous Italians wished to enjoy 'the simple life.' Villa Valmarana ai Nani

Villa Valmarana to Nani is a Venetian villa located in the city of Vicenza, on the ground of Monte Berico. Properties of Valmarana noble family, is still partly inhabited by the family.
